Amen! Especially about the Pooh thing. My mother, hating him, banned him from my crib in the early 70's.

Ha ha! I didn't read the title, so I didn't realize it was Cakes until I got to #9. And I thought, "Wow, Julie doesn't seem THAT anti-establishment to me" and "I know, it's so annoying when parents don't make their kids share the toys." But yeah, I think Bub and Cakes have the same attitude towards authority and any exertion of it over their sacred right to absolute autonomy and self-determination.
Hooray Cakes! You go girl! I don't like bananas either. In your honor I'll sing you one of my favorite ditties:
"Put your shoes on Cakes don't you know you're in the city?
Put your shoes on Cakes it really is a pity.
Cause Cakes likes to be barefoot wherever she goes
Because she likes to feel the wiggle of her toes!"
My girls have many of the same sentiments. Pooh bores them and dresses are too fiddly.

I can completely relate to this! I absolutely HATE dresses, hats, and shoes! They just cramp my feline style. Poopy diapers are the worse, and cuddling with my human pet is just something I do out of sheer necessity to obtain treats.
